Dear Friends and Neighbors,
In November of 2006, we came within one percentage point of restoring traditional conservative values to District 17’s representation in Austin. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your help and support in accomplishing that feat. It truly took a team effort, and I could not have done it without each and every one of you.
After much prayer and consideration, as well as encouragement from supporters throughout the district, my family, and friends, I have decided to again seek to represent our conservative principles as State Representative, District 17. It is obvious from the last election that thousands of Central Texans want their state representative to reflect the Republican ideals we hold so dear. Since that election, I have been humbled and rejuvenated by the outpouring of support I have received from the district and throughout the state. I pledge to work day-in and day-out from now until the election to earn every single vote I can muster, but I need your help.
Victory in 2008 will come because we all work together to restore our values to our seat in the Texas Legislature. So at this time I am again asking for your help. What we were able to accomplish last election cycle was amazing, but it is now time to re-double our efforts to ensure our voice is heard next November.
